Wakey, Wakey, Sleepy Baby

Have seen many photos from Mom2Ashley titled Good Morning Ashley. Just like Ashley, Zara is always in a good mood when she wakes up in the morning, I thought I too should capture moments like this.

This was taken last week, Zara was still sleeping when I had finished changing for work. Camera in hand, I woke her up by using the standard wake up call, "Wakey, Wakey, Sleepy Baby!" This was what greeted me, a smiling and good smelling (yes she smells like a sweet in the morning, and best of all, no morning breath!) toddler!

eyes opened; a cheeky smile; hands stretched out to be lifted up (to sitting position); a moment on the bed before she climbed down to start her busy day

    hey, her hair looks like a mohawk! yea...to think of it, they dont have the smelly breath that we have in the mornings! and yes, i love her smelllllL! my brother is sooooooooooo addicted to the baby smell on ashley. he said that ppl should bottle up the scent of babies and sell them!

    heh, I was gonna remark on the "electrocuted' hair style too, like jazzmint.. all that static!! Speaking of which, recently, I am going through lots of static electricity.. everything I touch seems to bite me back!! coffee machine, printer switch, car keyholes, ... is that a sign that I need to change my shoes?

    So happened these photos were taken on one of her bad hair days.. Normally it's flat and stick to the skull!

    And yes, baby smells wonderful.. except when they pooped. :P

    I get it now. Zara must've seen you in the morning when you just woke up,without your makeup, curlers in your hair, mudpack on your face etc..
    ...and she got so frightened that her hair stood on its ends! Muahahaha!!!

    Love to smell my kids when they woke up in the morning too! Think that's a standard procedure for almost all parents, hahaaaha... Yes, no bad breath, best part of it :)
